Tottie Sponsors Georgie Spence

Talented young event rider, Georgie Spence, has secured sponsorship with Tottie – a fashionable and vibrant clothing range.

The Tottie ethos is to believe strongly in developing and supporting up-and-coming equestrian talent, and the company is fast becoming known for combining the latest fashion trends with quality and equestrian practicality.

Said Richard Lawrence, of Tottie: “Tottie is a vibrant company with lots of great ideas and we are delighted to be supporting such a talented young rider like Georgie.

“She is the epitome of everything that Tottie stands for – class, femininity and fashion.”

Said Georgie: “I am delighted to have Tottie as a sponsor. Their support is greatly appreciated in running a team of event horses and I look forward to working with them in the future.”

Georgie looks set to be a name in eventing for many years to come. Her quiet determination, level headedness and talent make her an ideal candidate to be one of the next big names in the sport.

Based near Chippenham, Wiltshire, Georgie’s team of horses include Song For Gull, Trenear and Running Brook II.

These three rides have provided her with a great 2006 season. Her wins include Necarne CCIJ*, Chepstow CCI* U18 Championships and Avenches CCI* in Switzerland, as well as being on the silver medal winning team for the Junior European Championships.

Georgie takes her eventing career seriously and is very driven. With an already successful show jumping record on ponies behind her, Georgie regularly trains with Pammy Hutton and Tessa Thorne.

With plans to be around for years to come, Georgie sights the Rolex Grand Slam as ‘the one to win’ and the ultimate accolade to aim for.

Her current yard of six horses keeps Georgie very busy and she is very aware of the importance of their health and welfare.

“Of course the aim is to win, but it is also to keep the horses on the road, fit and well, for the whole season and the years ahead”, says Georgie.

“I am fortunate to have some wonderful horses currently, but we are always looking to the future and I realise I must constantly search for talented new rides and sponsors, which are as enthusiastic and supportive as Tottie, that can help me through to four star level.”
